On Friday February 17th, Richard Wiseman will be coming to the University of Oslo to talk about his latest book entitled Paranormality. The book deals with supernatural phenomena such as out-of-body experiences, near-death events, telepathy, conversations with the dead, spiritism, and ghosts. Wiseman blatantly rejects all supernatural phenomena and demonstrates how the experiences of such events may be real whereas the phenomena are not. Wiseman is Professor of Public Understanding of Psychology at the University of Hertfordshire in England. His lecture kicks off Kritisk Masse Skepticism Conference.
The lecture is part of the Science Debate project, which is a collaborative effort between the UiO Science Library and the Foundation Fritt Ord.
