In Steven Pinkers latest book, The Better Angels of Our Nature: Why Violence Has Declined (2011), he addresses the history of human violence, and argues that in spite of news headlines that constantly feature violence and war, we actually live in a time that is perhaps the least violent in the existence of our species.
Eight science libraries at the Blindern campus are being merged to create the new Science Library in the Vilhelm Bjerknes building. In the modernised building we will offer state-of-the-art-technology, longer opening hours and as many as 500 work places. Welcome to the grand opening on Wednesday March 14!
