Longer opening hours at the Library

Opening hours of the Humanities and Social Sciences Library, the Science Library and the Learning centre of the Law Library will be extended this spring. Now you can use several of our libraries until 10 PM on weekdays. Opening hours will also be extended on Saturdays. In addition, the Science Library will be open on Sundays.

Contribution to improving the quality of study

The expansion is a result of increased funding from the University, and is one element in efforts made to improve the quality of study. “We are very happy to offer even more hours of open libraries every week, and hope the students now will take advantage of the opportunities given them” says Library Director Bente Andreassen. “We have looked forward to this" says an enthusiastic Library director.
