Literature tree in Georg Sverdrups hus

This year's Christmas greeting from the Humanities and Social Sciences Library is in the shape of a tree decorated with 350 literary post cards. Here is how it was made.

350 post cards with greetings, 40 meters of plastic tubing, 450 meters of flagpole rope, 450 meters of tinsel and 500 cable ties. This is how the Humanities and Social Sciences Library wants to wish everyone a Merry Christmas.

– The Christmas tree is a greeting from the employees at the Humanities and Social Sciences Library to everyone who uses the library, says Cathinka Neverdal, subject librarian in English and the designer behind this creation.

The employees at the Humanities and Social Sciences Library have written various Christmas greetings on the cards, in several languages.
