Staff at the University of Oslo (UiO) and Oslo University Hospital (OUS), Rikshospitalet: service related to your research

Student at UiO: service related to your studies. Students at Blindern should use the particular library on campus which has the relevant literature.

Ph.D. candidate not employed by UiO: service as a student

Distance learners: by arrangement, books and photocopies from UBO’s collections can be sent home to you. You must pay for the return of documents yourself. Assistance and loans from other libraries are available through the library at the faculty to which you are attached.

External users over 18 years of age

• can use services offered within the different libraries
• can receive help to perform simple searches
• other assistance can be offered by arrangement and on condition that the particular library has the capacity. We refer you to the Library Director for more comprehensive arrangements.
• to borrow books from other libraries, contact the National Library or your local public library
