Renewal of loans

You may renew loans from our collections unless there is a waiting list. Kindly use BIBSYS Ask.

If you want to renew your interlibrary loans, Please contact your library.

Loans are not renewable if you have a third reminder, fines of at least NOK 200 or a compensation claim.

How to renew:
When you are in BIBSYS Ask, click Log on.

Students and staff at UiO
All students and staff with a registered personal ID:
 

• Choose: Log on using Feide.
• Choose affiliation: University of Oslo.
• Fill in your user ID and password at the University of Oslo.

Other users
 

• First time user: order a password in BIBSYS Ask.
• Fill in user name=library card ID.
• Fill in password.

When logged on, choose My page, then Loan overview/renewal. Click Renew or Renew all. If the loan is not renewable the Renew field will be blank.

Important: Click Refresh after you have renewed your loans to see the new due date.
