Carpentry week

With 'Carpentry week’ at the Science Library, we offer a mini-seminar and several workshops to help you acquire the necessary skills to work with your data efficiently and reproducibly.

Carpentry is a skilled trade in which the primary work performed is the cutting, shaping and installation of building materials during the construction of buildings, ships, timber bridges, concrete formwork, etc.” (Wikipedia definition). Software and Data Carpentry are skilled trades increasingly required for working with research data in all the sciences. By using software and basic programming effectively, you get your research further.
