Human rights (HUMR 5191) – Theory and Practice of Human Rights - Introduction to the library - Master 1st term
The course offers information about how literature and information is organised and how to find literature for your studies.
Learning outcomes
After the course you will be familiar with:
- useful databases for literature searches
- how to search for a book in BIBSYS Ask and how to find it in the library shelves
- the procedures and regulations for borrowing, ordering and reserving books
- how to access the University Library databases at campus and from home
- information competence

Target group
The course is arranged for first term master students at Theory and Practice of Human Rights.
This is the first of two library courses. The next course is offered in the 2nd term, and relates to the master thesis.
