TIK - intermediate library workshop - master
On this workshop we will perform the most common search task that Master's students face during their writing process. We will learn how to discover former research on the topic, other disciplines take on the problem, quality assessment of articles etc.
Learning outcomes
After the library course you should:
- have experienced complex search tasks
- be able to search for concepts and theories and not only titles, author and keywords.
- be able to evaluate relevance and quality by using quantitative and qualitative methods
Working methods
The students should use their thesis as a starting point for all the exercises and we will discuss problems that arise in connection with these tasks.
