We have trials on these databases:

Trial 1: Sinica Sinoweb - provides full-text access to the archive of 14 journals from Taiwan’s Academia Sinica, with the earliest dating back to as early as 1928

Trial 2: Chinese citation database - includes various search index, data visualization, and analysis of research power of a particular institution or scholar in China

New Databases

Duxiu Academic search - a search engine specializing in Chinese academic materials based on a huge database of full-texts and metadata on scholarly resources from the early the 1930s to the present in all subjects and formats including books, ‎articles from periodicals, graduate theses and dissertations, and conference proceedings, etc

Dacheng Modern China Database - covers around 7,000 Chinese periodicals published from late Qing to 1949, covering a wide field of disciplines

Chinese historical newspapers
- includes 12 Chinese newspapers in English covering the period 1832-1953

Asia in Focus: A Nordic journal on Asia where Master’s and Ph.D. students who are affiliated with a Nordic institution and working on Asia can publish their research.

The library course for EAST4510 will be held Friday, October 13th. 1415-1630, and Tuesday Ocotber 17th. 1415-1630  in grupperom 9, above the canteena in the main library building (Georg Sverdrups Hus)
