Published by Elsevier, 2010. Comprehensive encyclopdia with articles in general education, special needs education, higher education, educational technology, teacher education, educational leadership, globalisation and more.

ISI-Web of Knowledge
Cross-disciplinary, international database with mainly articles. You can search for topics in articles, and citations in articles and books. Journals are ranked by "impact factor".

Norart
Cross-disciplinary database with articles in Norwegian and Nordic journals.

ERIC
International database of education published by Education Resources Information Center. The database contains articles, reports, monographies, dissertations, conference papers as well as teachers' guides.

Psycinfo
International database for literature in psychology. Herewith also psychological literature in education, medicine and psychiatry

Medline
Medical database. Uses the keywordsystem known as MESH. Suitable for searching for diagnoses, difficulties and conditions.
