Most of the printers in the library have a card reader, and you must have a student card or employee ID card at the University of Oslo to use these.

Get immediate help or pre-book a guidance appointment. We can answer questions about the library or the services we offer, everything from how to find reading lists, to reference management and literature search.

Suggest a purchase

You are welcome to suggest additions to our collection (books, journals etc).

Access from home and when travelling

Access to journals and other restricted library resources is limited to computers that are connected UiO's network.

Services for external users

You can use the University Library even if you are not a student or employee at UiO or OUS, but the services are somewhat limited.
