Easier off-campus access
EZproxy is a service that allows the students and employees at UiO to access electronic resources purchased by the University Library when not connected to the UiO network.
When you are using a computer outside the UiO network and wish to access one of our electronic resources via a link in Oria, GoogleScholar and similar, you will be asked to login to EZproxy with your UiO user account. After logging in, you will be taken to the resource you wish to access.
How does it work?
Alternative access methods
The links to the databases on the database list in Oria and a few other resources do not currently work with EZproxy. To access these you can use UiO Programkiosk.
EZproxy uses UiOs own authentication solution (Weblogin) and does not store data about you.
Let us know of any errors or if you want to give us feedback at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Electronic resources includes journals, articles, books, book chapters, databases, and so on, which are available online.
