Take Away Library – access to printed material while the Library is closed

The week after Easter, the University Library will open a limited service for collecting highly needed material from our printed collections. The service will be offered within the national guidelines for infection control. It is not possible to return any books to the Library until we are up and running with normal services again.

Who can use this service?

UiO staff and students who need to access printed material that are not available electronically.

How to access the material

You can order material from April 14, via Nettskjema. 

When the material is ready, you will get a notice on email with information about where and when you can pick it up. Delivery will take place within a limited period of time, the day after the order was submitted at the earliest. 

The delivery will take place outside the Libraries, and it is not possible to return any books to the Library until we are up and running with normal services again. The service will be offered within the national guidelines for infection control.

Local variations of the service provided at the various Library branches will occur.
