Black Lives Matter: reading list for increased insight
A year after riots and demonstrations, the Black Lives Matter movement is just as relevant. UB's reading list gives you current and historical book tips to understand the debate around racism in Norway and the rest of the world, from Eg snakkar om det heile tida by Camara Lundestad Joof to Why I'm no longer talking to white people about race by Reni Eddo-Lodge.

On May 25, 2020, George Floyd was killed by police in the United States. This incident led to riots in the United States and demonstrations around the world. Questions about police violence, racism, activism, political processes and the state of democracy became hotly debated. In the past year, there have been several debates about racism, which we also find here in Norway. We have created a reading list that can hopefully contribute to increased insight. Here you will find both fiction and academic books, insights come in all forms!
