Carpentry: R for Reproducible Scientific Analysis (Novices)

Software Carpentry offers workshops for fundamental coding and data skills needed to conduct research.

The course is aimed at graduate students and other researchers who have little or no prior experience (= "novices") with the programming language R. You do not need to have any previous knowledge of the tools and packages that will be presented at the workshop.

We will use RStudio Cloud in the course, but we will also take time to show how to use R on your own computer. For that, participants must bring a laptop with a Mac, Linux, or Windows operating system (not a tablet, Chromebook, etc.) that they have administrative privileges on. They should have a few specific software packages installed (listed in the full course information).
