Who is this workshop for?
The course is aimed at graduate students and other researchers who have little or no prior experience (= "novices") with the programming language R. You do not need to have any previous knowledge of the tools and packages that will be presented at the workshop.
Prerequisites

Participants must bring a laptop with a Mac, Linux, or Windows operating system (not a tablet, Chromebook, etc.) that they have administrative privileges on.

Having RStudio installed, the necessary setup shown on this instruction page

They should have a few specific software packages installed, listed in the full course information.
