How to join?

Active participation via Zoom (registration required)

If you want to work on exercises together with your colleagues or peers, you can choose to join as a learner or a helper, individually or as a part of a team:

  1. Solo learner: You will join in exercise sessions in Zoom breakout room together with other participants and an exercise leader.
  2. Individual exercise leader: You will be assigned to one of the breakout rooms during exercise sessions where you will work on the exercises together with solo learners. You should have some familiarity with git, provide some initial advice on obvious error messages, and be able to call us for advanced help when it’s needed. There will be onboarding sessions.
  3. Participation as a team : You may register as a team including 1-2 participants that could act as exercise leader. Then your team will be kept together during exercise sessions within a breakout room. If you come together with your friends or research group, you will be able to learn a lot more.

Capacities are limited for solo learners depending on the number of individual exercise leaders. For more information, please refer to the workshop website.
