Introduction to research data management - HF

What is research data management, seen from a humanities and social science perspective?

Good research data management is increasingly important for researchers from all disciplines. But what is research data management, seen from a humanities and social science perspective? And how can researchers comply with requirements being introduced by both funders and institutions?

In this 90 minute course we will introduce the concept of research data management to you, and discuss what is specific to data in the humanities and social science research. The UiO policy for research data management will be presented, and we will work through the funder policies and requirements from the Research Council Norway and EU.

We will wrap up with a question and answer session where you will be able to ask us any questions you have about research data management!
