Are you uncertain about where you can safely store your data at UiO? In this course we will introduce you to the UiO Data Classification and Data Storage guides. Learn about potential restrictions that might apply to your research data, and which storage and processing services are available to you.
We will wrap up with a question and answer session where you will be able to ask us any questions you might have about data classification and storage.
PhD students, Postdocs, researchers, and research support staff at the University of Oslo.
After the workshop, you:
- are familiar with UiO's classification system of data and information
- can assess which class data and information you have in your project(s)
- know which UiO storage services are available for different types of data and information
The course will take place digitally on Zoom and meeting link will be sent out to the registered participants the day before the course. The course is delivered by The University of Oslo Library and Digital Scholarship Center – as part of the Skills Development for Research Data project funded by the UiO Advisory Council for eInfrastructure.
