Introduction to open and reproducible research
Learn about what open research is and how to make your own research more transparent and reproducible.
Course presentation
Description
Open research is becoming the new normal and an increasing number of funders requires that researchers publish open access and share their data, methods and tools to improve research transparency and reproducibility. It also contributes to increased rigor, robustness and visibility of research studies. But what does it mean to make your research open and reproducible? And how do you do it?
In this 90-minute course we will introduce the concepts of open research and reproducibility. We will also give you an overview over different open research practices and practical tips on how to make your research more reproducible. Finally, we will discuss the benefits and challenges of implementing these practices in your own research.
We will wrap up with a question and answer session where you will be able to ask us any questions you might have about open and reproducible research!
