On the occasion of the Nobel Peace Price for 2017 being awarded to the International Campaign to Abolish Nuclear Weapons (ICAN), we are showing the film "The Arrow of Time" with Mikhail Gorbatsjov among others. The film is a warning against a new nuclear arms race.

Mats Larsson from The Nobel Committee for Physics will briefly describe the procedure and criteria to award the Nobel Prize in physics. He will then describe the 2017 year's prize – the LIGO detector and gravitational waves.
