The University library invites all students at UiO to an evening in Georg Sverdrups hus where we are focusing on writing. Get a writing consultation, attend lectures, yoga and get inspiration from our workshops!

The Factiva database from Dow Jones contains news sources from various languages and all corners of the world. The broad range of content provides both local insight and global perspectives on business issues and current events. Use it to search for a specific topic and region. Bring a subject of your academic interest or a country you want to study closer, and we will search together in the newspapers for this area as covered by Factiva.

Simple exercises for concentration and relaxation using sound- and breathing meditation. We have a few yoga mats, bring blanket and pillow if you like. With Liv Nome. 

Liv is a musician and yoga instructor. She has more than 20 years of yoga experience, the last 13 years as a Hatha yoga instructor.

Don't forget a pen, your papers and a computer. If you are planning to stay the whole evening, it is a good idea to bring something to eat and drink.
