Do you need help with EndNote? Are you publishing an article in a journal that requires a certain reference style? Ask us! We are happy to help.
All students at the UiO have access to EndNote, a software for managing bibliographies, citations and references. EndNote can be used to produce in-text citations and lists of references for Word and other word processing programs.

Are you struggling to find the time to write? Writing together is easier. Write for 45 min - 15 min break - repeat! We will provide coffee, tea and fruit.

Åsmund H. Eikenes is a biologist, author, lecturer and enthusiastic storyteller. He has taught science communication courses at UiO for several years and has published six books across several genres. Åsmund currently works as a content designer in the multi-disciplinary design agency Halogen.

Ingerid Straume is a published non-fiction author and writing instructor at the University of Oslo. She holds a PhD in the philosophy of education and is editor of the website www.sokogskriv.no.

In this presentation, we are going to concentrate on completely new ways of working with PDFs and notes in Zotero 6.0. Just like the smartphone has become so much more than a telephone, the reference managers today have the potential to transform the research workflow.

Speed-poetry-writing with Arild & Jonas
Blank pages can be intimidating. In this session, Arild og Jonas invite you to engage in an exercise where you can play with the language (any language). The aim is to get a taste of what it feels like to let go and let your thoughts flow intuitively, freely. Come as you are! We supply paper and writing tools. The activity lasts about 15 minutes.
This activity will be repeated at 21:00 and 22:00.

Simple relaxation and stretching exercises to improve concentration and stress management. You can wear regular, loose-fitting clothes. We have a few yoga mats, but encourage you to bring your own if you have one.
