Life Science Writing Club

Meet colleagues from the life sciences and get some writing done at the Life Science Writing Club! Special guest this Wednesday is Alvaro Köhn Luque, researcher at the Institute of Basic Medical Sciences.

We invite all researchers and Ph.D.-students in the life sciences to the Life Science Writing Club. You will have the chance to get in touch with other researchers across disciplines, as well as to focus on your own writing.

Meet and greet Alvaro Köhn Luque

The writing club begins with the possibility to mingle, meet and greet, and a 25 minutes inspirational talk entitled "To share or not to share: science communication, social media, preprints and more" by Alvaro Köhn Luque, researcher at Institute of Basic Medical Sciences..

Food and coffee

During the first 30 minutes a light meal, cookies and coffee will be served.

"Shut up & write"

After the inspirational talk it's writing time! We work using the "Shut up & write" model, with 40 minutes writing followed by 15 minutes break where you can check your e-mail, get some coffee, and meet up with future collaborators.
