Life Science Writing Club - digital meetup!
Welcome to the Life Science Writing Club! Join in for a chance to meet other researchers in the life sciences - and get some writing done! Due to the current Corona virus situation, this meeting will be held digitally on Zoom.
We invite all researchers and PhD candidates in the life sciences to the Life Science Writing Club (LSWC). You will have the chance to get in touch with other researchers across disciplines, as well as to focus on your own writing.
Life sciences represent an interdisciplinary science to which researchers from various disciplines such as medicine, biology, mathematics, chemistry, pharmacology, physics, computer science, social science and humanities contribute with their expertise.
Due to the current Corona virus situation, this meeting will be held digitally on Zoom. Please send us an email, and we will provide you with the Zoom link. Hopefully we will be able to meet physically again in January.
Special Special guest
This time, Cathinka Dahl Hambro from the Academic writing centre will have a short presentation with tips about English grammar, how to get started with your witing and what the Academic writing centre can help you with.
"Shut up & write"
We work using the "Shut up & write" model, with 40 minutes writing followed by 15 minutes break where you can check your e-mail, get some coffee, and meet up with future collaborators.
- The LSWC is financially supported by UiO:Life Science.
