Life Science Writing Club
Welcome to the Life Science Writing Club! Join in for a chance to meet other researchers in the life sciences - and get some writing done!
We invite all researchers and Ph.D.-students in the life sciences to the Life Science Writing Club. You will have the chance to get in touch with other researchers across disciplines, as well as to focus on your own writing.
Meet and greet
The writing club begins with the possibility to mingle, meet and greet, and a short inspirational talk on EndNote by librarian Marte Søyland.
Food and coffee
During the first 30 minutes a light meal, cookies and coffee will be served.
"Shut up & write"
After the inspirational talk it's writing time! We work using the "Shut up & write" model, with 40 minutes writing followed by 15 minutes break where you can check your e-mail, get some coffee, and meet up with future collaborators.
The University of Oslo Library will host 10 meetings during the fall 2019. All meetings will take place in Niels Henrik Abels hus, room 209.
The LSWC is financially supported by Livsvitenskapssatsningen.
