Mia Cecilie Heller er seniorrådgiver ved Statped, avdeling språk/tale. Hun har doktorgrad i pedagogisk psykologi (fra Universitetet i Oslo, Institutt for pedagogikk) og har tidligere jobbet som universitetslektor (Institutt for spesialpedagogikk, UiO) og som pedagogisk-psykologisk rådgiver (Oslo PPT). Forskningsinteressene hennes inkluderer språkutvikling hos flerspråklige barn, utviklingsmessige språkforstyrrelser og tiltak som kan fremme barns språklæring i skolen.

Natalia Kartushina is an Associate Professor in Psycholinguistics, who joined MultiLing in December 2020. She holds a PhD in Experimental Psycholinguistics (University of Geneva) and had previously worked as a postdoctoral researcher at BCBL (Spain) and BabyLing (Institute for Psychology, UiO). Her research interests cover first and second-language phonological/lexical acquisition and the role of environment in shaping language learning.

Natalia Kartushina er førsteamanuensis i psykolingvistikk, og begynte å jobbe ved MultiLing i desember i 2020. Hun har doktorgrad i eksperimentell psykolingvistikk (fra Universitetet i Genève) og har tidligere jobbet som postdoktor ved BCBL (Spania), og BabyLing (Psykologisk Institutt, UiO).  Forskningsinteressene hennes inkluderer fonologisk/leksikalsk tilegnelse i første- og andrespråk, og hvordan miljøet påvirker språklæring.

Kristen Schroeder is a postdoctoral researcher at the department of Philosophy, Classics, History of Art and Ideas (IFFIK), joining the University of Oslo in December 2020. Under the supervision of Ingrid Lossius Falkum, she is developing the Norwegian Research Council project entitled, ‘Creativity and Convention in Pragmatic Development’, which assesses pragmatic language development among children with and without Autism Spectrum Conditions (ASC). Kristen holds an MA and PhD in Cognitive Science and Language from the University of Barcelona.

The presentation will be given in English.

Kristen Schroeder er postdoktor ved Institutt for filosofi, ide- og kunsthistorie og klassiske språk (IFFIK), og begynte ved Universitetet i Oslo i desember 2020. Kristen utvikler prosjektet «Kreativitet og konvensjon i pragmatisk utvikling» i samarbeid med Ingrid Lossius Falkum og med støtte fra Norges Forskningsråd. Prosjektet studerer pragmatisk utvikling hos barn med typisk utvikling og med autismespekterforstyrrelser (ASF). Kristen har en master- og doktorgrad i kognitiv vitenskap og språk fra Universitetet i Barcelona.

Seyed Hadi Mirvahedi (Postdoctoral fellow at MultiLing) will give a talk on analyzing language practices in the family through interactional sociolinguistics.

In early November we held a digital workshop on citizen science and citizen sociolinguistic initiatives. The workshop involved participants from the University of Oslo and international colleagues. The workshop consisted of keynote speeches, shorter invited talks and discussion sessions. The talks were recorded and are uploaded below for anyone to view.
