The contents of NVA are not yet searchable in the library catalogue Oria. This means that you will not find documents such as master’s theses, dissertations and research reports in full text in Oria. Go directly to NVA to search for these publications.
Background
Please note that this news story was originally about reduced access to the DUO research archive, and was published in 2025.
From July 2025, access to DUO was severely limited, as only users on the UH network in Norway had access, and eventually only users on the University of Oslo network. This happened because the IT Department had to implement certain security measures to protect data and privacy in the DUO research archive.
At the same time, we announced that DUO would be moved to NVA, and that DUO’s publications would again be made available there. Unfortunately, this work took longer than initially expected, but the migration has now been completed.
