Introduction to Large Language Models (ChatGPT and NotebookLM)

Learning Objectives

This course will give an introduction to Large Language Models (LLMs) like ChatGPT, NotebookLM and Copilot. The course is divided into a theoretical and a practical part. First, we’ll talk a bit about how language models work, and what possibilities and limitations they have. Then we’ll demonstrate some practical usage, with the main focus on NotebookLM.

• To use NotebookLM, you must consent to UiO sharing your email address with Google Workspace.
