Join us for an interactive workshop with Joel Nitta to explore {targets}, the R package that is rapidly becoming the standard for reproducible workflows in R. For new users, the package can seem intimidating, but Joel will demystify its use and show you how to take advantage of its power for managing workflows. Joel has published several analyses (papers) using {targets} and now uses it on a near-daily basis.

The workshop will be hands-on, with ample opportunities to practice using {targets} on your own data. In the latter half of the day, you'll have the chance to bring your own data and receive guidance and support from the instructors.

Whether you're new to {targets} or looking to enhance your existing skills, this workshop will equip you with the knowledge and tools to work more efficiently and effectively with R workflows.

Instructor

Joel Nitta is an Associate Professor at Chiba University, Japan. He studies the evolution and ecology of ferns, and is passionate about reproducible data analysis using R.

Setup and Preparations
