Course description
This workshop introduces FAIR Wizard Norway (plan.research-data.no), a web-based tool for creating, customising, and maintaining Data Management Plans (DMPs). This workshop applies to all data-driven fields.
The workshop is hands-on, and participants will be given dedicated time to work on a Data Management Plan for their own research project during the session.
FAIR Wizard Norway is currently provided by Sikt in collaboration with BOTT-universities as part of the national effort to support good data management and FAIR data practices.
Learning outcomes
After the workshop, participants will be able to:
- Create a Data Management Plan in FAIR Wizard Norway for their own research project
- Use guided questions and recommendations to meet funder requirements
- Collaborate with project partners on a shared DMP
Prerequisites and required materials
- Come with a research project in mind, as part of the workshop will be spent actively working on your own Data Management Plan
- Participants are requested to log in via Feide into https://norway.fair-wizard.com/
- No additional software is required.
