Target Audience

Primarily PhD students, postdocs, researchers, and research support staff at the University of Oslo and Oslo University Hospital. There are a few spots for external participants and participants from other Norwegian/Nordic universities are especially welcome to attend.

Workshop description

The traditional author byline does not make individual research labor visible. Using CRediT – Contributor Roles Taxonomy changes that. This taxonomy, with fourteen diverse roles, helps you assign contributions to all your co-authors and acknowledged contributors. It also reduces chances of authorship dispute, and enhances research collaborations.

In this workshop we will first explain different CRediT roles, and then help you to assign them to co-authors and acknowledged contributors of you latest manuscript.

We will wrap up with a question and answer session where you will be able to ask us any questions you might have about this topic.
