Course description
Publishing your research results openly, in a form of preprints, Open Access articles and books, has become a new academic norm. Numerous research institutions and research funders are creating strategies and requirements to make research results openly available to everyone. But do you have an overview of all requirements? Do you want to know more about preprints? How to choose the best way to publish Open Access? Or how to utilise UiO’s publishing deals?
In this 60-minute course we will introduce you to the different parts of the publishing process: from preprints, through open peer-review, to publishing Open Access. We will discuss their benefits and limitations, and we will give you some practical tips for getting through this process.
We will wrap up with a question and answer session where you will be able to ask us any questions you might have about this topic!
