May 8 marks 80 years since the liberation of Norway from the Nazi occupation. Today, the world around us is storming. We are living with economic instability and a war in Europe. International organizations like the WHO and UN are coined as irrelevant as states define their own rules of international cooperation.
UiO students in collaboration with SUSTAINIT and the University Library, invite you to a breakfast seminar, where we will pose the questions: How did we manage 80 years of democracy and what did we do right? And more importantly; is there hope for another 80 years of democracies? What do we need to do today, for the world to be safer, freer and more democratic 80 years from now?
We will explore the questions along four axes: economic stability, trends of democracies, global health and the revolution of AI and tech.
