Clothes Swap

This is a great opportunity to refresh your wardrobe in a sustainable and budget-friendly way. By swapping instead of shopping, you help reduce textile waste and give clothes a longer life.

What to do:

  • Bring clean, gently used clothes you no longer wear to the front desk at the HumSam Library between Tuesday 7 April and Tuesday 21 April.
    • Find our staffed opening hours here.
  • Each person may hand in a maximum of 10 garments in exchange for clothing swap vouchers.
  • Bring your vouchers to the Clothes Swap at Georg Sverdrups hus on Tuesday April 21 – and bring home “new to you” clothes that are kind to both your wallet and the environment.

Important information:

  • Please make sure the clothes you hand in are clean and in such good condition that you’d be happy to give them to a friend.
  • We accept all types of clothing (including hats, caps, scarves/shawls, bags and belts).
  • We are unfortunately not able to accept jewellery, shoes, or underwear.
