About the topic

Do you want to preserve and share data from your research project? DataverseNO is a national, generic repository for open research data, operated by UiT The Arctic University of Norway. The University of Oslo is one of 14 research organizations that are part of the DataverseNO collaboration. DataverseNO is aligned with the FAIR Guiding Principles for scientific data management and is CoreTrustSeal certified. The technical infrastructure of the repository is based on the open-source application Dataverse, which is developed by an international developer and user community led by Harvard University.

In this talk, Philipp Conzett will present DataverseNO and how and why this is an important contribution to Norwegian research infrastructure. Next, Dr Live Kvale will describe how the University of Oslo Library contributes by assisting you as a researcher in increasing the FAIRness of the data trough curation and a dialogue regarding enhancement of metadata/documentation and file organization before the dataset is published.

Grab you matpakke and join us for short presentation on DataverseNO from our invited guests, and for an open Q&A session afterwards!

How to join

The event is open to everybody and will take place on-site at the Digital Scholarship Center, Georg Sverdrups hus, 1st floor (register here for in-person attendance) as well as online on Zoom (click here to join).
