About the topic
In the recent years, many national Reproducibility Networks have appeared around the world, starting with UK Reproducibility Network and expanding not only within Europe but also to the Americas, Africa, and Australia. These are peer-led, grassroot networks that seek to support and improve reproducibility and quality of research across disciplines. Building on that, the Norwegian Reproducibility Network (NORRN) was launched last year with the aim to promote and enable rigorous, robust and transparent research practices in Norway.
Grab your matpakke and join us for a presentation from our special guest, prof. Marcus Munafo, the founder of UKRN, who will walk us through how the UK Reproducibility Network started and facilitated an international collaborative and - most importantly - peer-led grassroots movement. We will follow up with a short introduction to NORRN - its structure, aims and ways to get involved. We will wrap up with a discussion and an open Q&A session!

Each last Thursday of the month at 12.00 we invite you to join us an open lunch to hear about how to make your research more open. We will discuss research transparency and visibility, open publishing, data sharing, and more! After each short presentation we will have a Q&A session, where you can ask questions or try yourself some of the tools and solutions we will present!
