As we finish the second year of C2HO, we would like to thank everyone who participated and supported our initiative to gather and share creative computing resources across Oslo.
In the second year of the C2HO initiative we have:
- Organized 9 public events, attended by a total of 145 people, including 8 interactive creative coding events and a creative computing showcase.
- Published online material (video and code) for 11 creative computing workshops.
- Participated and contributed to Digital Scholarship Days, Oslo Skaperfestival and Popsenteret's Telematic Testing Concert with workshops or interactive creative computing demonstrations.
- Continued growing a mailing-list where 311 people have registered so far, with 239 of these affiliated with UiO.
- Continued growing our social media presence with 102 followers on Instagram and 78 followers on Twitter.
- Began archiving our material on our GitHub.
In Autumn 2024 we will have more events to look forward to, including a collaboration with NOTAM for a series of workshops on Live Coding, using languages such as Tidal Cycles, Sonic Pi, and Glicol. We hope to see you there!
