About the Talk

Location-based media in general and Augmented Reality (AR) in particular are reconfiguring the way we experience reconstructions of the past on location. This talk will focus on the Sitsim AR platform as a form of indirect augmented reality and how we have recently experimented with motion capture to enrich the reconstruction and simulation of past places and events. The presentation will draw from a series of AR simulations that have been developed over the past decade.
