How to renew your loans

Automatic Renewals

• Loans from UB's collections are automatically renewed if there is no waiting list, for students and external users for up to 1 year, for employees no limitation.
• You can also renew manually in Oria, e.g. before vacations, to avoid books being recalled when you are away.
• Interlibrary loans can be renewed in Oria.
• Loans cannot be renewed if there is a waiting list.

How to renew your loans

• Sign in to Oria. How to sign in
• Go to [My account] in the top menu.
• From this page you have three options for renewing loans.
• Check the loan status after your renewal request to confirm whether it was renewed. If the loan can’t be renewed, it must be returned to the library.

1. In the Overview tab you can click [Renew all].

2. Go to the [Loans] tab and select which loans you want to renew. Then click on [Renew selected].

3. In the [Loans] tab click on [Renew] to the right of each individual loan.
