About
I work as a senior advisor at the Digital Scholarship Centre, where I specialize in research support across the full research lifecycle. I support researchers and research environments in adopting digital methods and tools, from data analysis and programming to the responsible use of AI, research data management, open science practices, and effective dissemination through visualization, presentation, and science communication. My work combines hands-on support, teaching, and strategic guidance, including the development of courses, tutorials, and tailored training materials, as well as close collaboration with research groups and institutional partners.
My research background spans population demography, plant ecology, microbial ecology, and environmental protection, with hands-on experience across the full research workflow, from field and laboratory work to statistical modeling, programming, and data-driven analysis.

Research
My research spans from population ecology to microbial ecology. Over the past 5+ years, I have focused on understanding the impact of climate change on Arctic and alpine ecosystems. Initially, my studies focused on freshwater systems, subsequently expanding to vegetation. I have led field campaigns in tundra environments, conducted molecular laboratory work, and developed mathematical models to better understand the effects of climate change on alpine-Arctic ecosystems. Recently, my research has expanded to include the study of endophytes, microbes living within plant tissues, and their role in helping plants adapt to harsh environments and climate change.
