After receiving your inquiry, we will contact you for a meeting where we will get to know your research project, discuss the literature search, and make a plan for further collaboration.
We can contribute with
- Searching for published or ongoing evidence synthesis
- Deciding which databases and search terms to use
- Conducting and documenting the systematic literature searches
- Guidance on other search methods such as citation searches, reference lists searching and finding grey literature
- Guidance on the use of reference management and screening tools, such as EndNote and Covidence
- Doing an update of the initial search before publishing
- Writing about the literature search in the methods chapter
We ensure the quality of our work by conducting internal peer review of the search strategies.
Sometimes you don't need to conduct a full systematic literature search. Such smaller literature searches can often be quicker to conduct and will result in fewer hits for the researcher. It is important to emphasize that such searches will not identify all relevant research articles.
Crediting
A systematic literature search is a central part of a systematic knowledge review. Therefore, we would like to be acknowledged in the article.
If the individual librarian has the capacity, co-authorship is also possible, as the work meets the ICMJE co-authorship criteria.
