Access to documents in The Norwegian Research Information Repository (NVA)

Not all documents in NVA from the University of Oslo (UiO) are openly accessible. This is an overview of the options you have for gaining access. If access is granted, it will only be to a paper copy of the document, not an electronic version.

Scientific publications, such as articles and chapters

If these have delayed availability (embargo), they will only be accessible from the specified date.

Student theses published from 1 September 2025 onwards

These are published after the transition to NVA, and it is only possible to read the ones that have openly available files in NVA. There is no possibility to request a printout of those that do not have an open file.

This includes theses that have delayed availability specified in NVA. The theses will only be available from the specified date.

Student theses published up to and including 31 August 2025

These documents have been transferred to NVA from the previous DUO Research Archive. Some of them have restricted availability, and for these it may be possible to gain access to a printout. Common to all of them is that one of the texts below appears. The texts are unfortunately only available in Norwegian.:
