Printing, copying and scanning

Most of the printers in the library have a card reader, and you must have an access card at the University of Oslo to use these. Read more about printing at UiO.

The library does not certify copies.

Libraries that offers printing, copying and scanning:

Humanities and Social Sciences Library in Georg Sverdrups hus

• The library has printers on level 1 and 2 that can be used for printing, copying and scanning.
• Book Scanner / Flat Bed Scanner (scans from below): On Level 1, in the area behind the library desk, there are 2 book scanners for up to A4-size. The scanners are connected to a PC, and you need a UiO username and password in order to gain access. Scanned material can be saved to your home area on the computer.

Informatics Library

• The library has a printer that can be used for printing, copying and scanning.

Law Library in Domus Juridica

• The library has a printer that can be used for printing, copying and scanning.
• A book scanner that saves what you scan on a memory stick, and can be used by anyone. You must bring your own memory stick, and for the sake of data security, we ask that you only use new memory sticks.

Life Science Library

• The library has a printer that can be used for printing, copying and scanning.

Medical Library at Rikshospitalet

• The library has a printer that can be used for printing, copying and scanning.
• The library also has a separate printer for users with an employee card at OUS that can be used for printing, copying and scanning.

• There is one printer inside the library, and one downstairs that can be used for printing, copying and scanning.
